Carlos Castillo — Former MLB Pitcher, Mentor, and Innovator
Carlos Castillo’s professional baseball career began in 1995 and spanned 18 years, including time with the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox.Known for his power on the mound and deep understanding of the game, Carlos experienced firsthand what separated good equipment from great equipment.
During those years, he saw a frustrating reality: while MLB players had access to truly elite custom gloves, most serious amateur players were stuckwith mass-produced gear that lacked the precision, feel, and durability needed to perform at the highest level.
When Carlos retired, he didn’t just walk away from the game — he decided to elevate it. He envisioned a company where every player, from risingprospects to seasoned pros, could have access to world-class equipment built without compromise.
That vision became Kachi Sports.
