The Break-In Method
The guide walks you through a 5-step professional process:
- Surface cleaning and initial conditioning
- Pocket-shaping with mallet and ball
- Hand-working the leather (finger stalls, palm, web)
- Overnight rest with ball and bands
- Final conditioning and game-ready inspection
Timeline: 3–5 days from first use to game-ready. Dramatically faster than the 6–8 weeks a typical retail glove needs to break in through game use alone.
