Latin & Caribbean Baseball Heritage
Latin & Caribbean Baseball Heritage
Every custom Kachi glove ships with optional flag embroidery — free of charge — from any of eleven Latin American and Caribbean baseball nations. It is the smallest detail on the glove and, for a lot of players, the most important.
Why we offer this
Kachi was started by two former MLB pitchers. Julio Teherán was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and pitched six consecutive Opening Days for the Atlanta Braves — a streak tied with Warren Spahn. Carlos Castillo pitched in the majors with the White Sox and Red Sox before an 18-year career that took him through Japan's NPB and Taiwan's CPBL, where he played alongside players from across this region. The flag program exists because they spent their careers around the men these countries produce, and because no other glove brand treats the heritage of the player wearing it as part of the build sheet.
Choose your country
Each country page documents the league, the heritage, and the players that make the case. Pick yours below.
The flag is embroidered on the wrist strap or pinky finger, your choice, and is included on every custom build at no additional cost.
